The East Coast of Zante from Zante Town through resorts of Tsilivi to Alykes

Tsilivi beach on the East coast of Zakynthos
The resort of Tsilivi is just five kilometres from Zante Town. Tsilvi beach is central on the island of Zakynthos and is a very popular destination for holiday makers in Zakynthos.
From the Balcony Hotel at one end, Tsilivi beach stretches a few kilometers up the North Eastern Coast of Zakynthos.
Tsilivi beach is a wide, soft sand beach. The beach has repeatedly been awarded blue flag status for cleanliness and safety. Swimming at Tsilivi is very safe for children, with the shoreline gently shelving into the sea. Further along the East Coast of Zante Zakynthos, in between the popular resort beaches of Tsilivi and Alykanas, there are a number of smaller, very relaxed, charming sandy bays.
The Zante beaches of Bouka, Tragaki, Aboula, Amoudi and Psarou all provide the option for a really tranquil day at the beach. These smaller beaches on the east Coast of Zante are not nearly as busy as the main resort beaches. With crystal clear waters along the East Coast, these beaches are superb for a refreshing swim and great for a spot of snorkelling.
Scattered along these peaceful East Coast beaches are some of the best traditional tavernas on the island. Here you will find a number of fish taverns and old-style Greek restaurants, perfect for a spot of lunch or dinner during your stay on the East Coast.
